purchased efs file

I've purchased a 3rd party efs file .... I get an error message of the license having expired.... the vendor says he has no idea what's wrong ....could it be that my username is spelled incorrectly within the efs file ?

Hello mic,

The message indicates to me that your username has not been added to their list of entitled users or is misspelled in their list. Only the vendor you purchased the study from can correct this for you.
