Updating Intraday Securities

I have created a number of intraday securities (forex) with 5 minute intervals. At the moment, my charts only have data for those time periods when i am connected to the esignal data server. I have tried to update them using the downloader but i get "No securities were updated, errors occured." ALso sometimes the error "Error Connecting to Q-Centre.exe Please report to equis"

Is there a way for MS pro 8 to update the charts automatically with 5 minute data every time i connect, or do i have to update with the downloader? Can anyone who is doing this give some advice, or point me to an online resource, on how to achieve seamless intraday charts? I have checked the metastock knowledgebase but there is nothing covering this area.
