Symbols and Quotes for Options

Can anyone tell me how I need to set up the option symbols in global server to download quotes and history information? I added the option symbols to the portfolio, which are all 3 or 4 letter symbols, by using the esignal downloader. Interestingly, it limited the symbols and history to 2004 and 2005. Then when I use the esignal plug-in to download data, I do not get any data ie, no quotes being downloaded or processed. I do not know if it matters but these symbols were added AFTER installing the plug-in, not before. The data I attempted to download were the daily trade, bid and ask records. Thanks! Kelly

eSignal does not store intraday data on options so the only way to have that data is by collecting it in real time.
They do instead store historical daily data however AFAIK the Plugin is not set up at this time to retrieve quotes for those symbols.
