  • GlobalServer fails to load historical data

After installing the TS2000i Plug-in for eSignal I found that the live data passed through to TradeStation, however I could not download either historical daily or inter day data.

Thanks to Eric on the help desk we found the answer. I had two versions of the DBCAPI.DLL file. By going to 'start', 'search', 'all files and folders' you can search for DBCAPI.DLL. If you have two versions then copy the newer one over the older one (my old one was from 1999).

You will need to close down TradeStation and the GlobalServer before copying the file otherwise you will get a 'file in use' or 'file sharing violation' message.

I do have the same problem.
I only have one dbcapi.dll file in the esignal folder.
My one dates 06/12/2005. When I try to import historical data previously saved I still get a "File sharing violation" message.
    Any help?
