  • can't download data from esignal

    Hi.
    I just started to use esignal.

    Have trouble downloading data from esignal into global server.
    Bunch of image files showing my problem is attached below.

    What I was trying to do there is
    downloading continuous data of japanese yen.

    please can someone help me, and tell me
    precisely what did I do wrong here?
    I can see the data through esignal program.

          Hi,

          The problem is that in the Format Symbol window(your image file +t¦+ -6.gif) the Field box is blank--it should show Trade Record (as in the attached image.

          I have fixed this in the past by reinstalling Tradestation.

            thanks a lot for answering.

            I read that you solved the same problem by
            reinstalling tradestation, so I did reinstall.
            But it's not working yet.
            I did reinstalling 3 times,
            Still I can't see anything on Field tap.

            I can see it when I do a charting with data from somewhere else.
            Strange thing is that I can clearly see the very trade record
            on global server.

            Could you(or anyone who read this thread) help me out?

              Did you uninstall the program first? If not, try that before reinstalling. It has worked for other clients who have had the same issue.

              Yes, the data is in the GlobalServer however the problem is the link between the GS and the chart.

              You may want to e-mail Melody Blais at Tradestation. She is the only one left there who knows anything about TS2000i. Her e-mail address is: [email protected]

                uninstalling and then reinstalling doesn't work either.
