  • How do i execute the jsp file?

I have downloaded the ts2000i plug in successfully - now what do I do? If I double click it to execute. it asks me for a program to run it with. The same with the instruction manual!!!

Can someone pls advise as I am completely lost with this!

It sounds like you did not download the installer.
As to the instruction manual that is in HTML format so if you have a browser it should be able to open it

      Installer?

      Hi Alexis

The only 3 files I can see are the .exe, and 2 guides - one in Italian.
I assume the .exe file ran itself or do I need something else?

        Russ,

It sounds like you are using the new Netscape browser to download....i have same problem.. for some reason, netscape doesn't know how to handle /mime-application type data.

Either rename the extension back to the original, or use IE to download.

I use IE6 currently and the file name is the original one from the download
          site

The name of the original installer file is eSignal_Plugin_TS2000i_v1.0.0.3721.exe so I really would not know you where this file with a jsp extension is coming from.
You may want to try a redownload

              Alexis

Is there a problem with this installer file then. I have redownloaded it and
still i get the jsp extension. But also I cannot read the instruction manual
which I understand can be read in Internet explorer.
It must be a setting on my machine or a corrupted file your end?

I understand that jsp is a java type file but I am not a programmer and
would not use something like this.
It is all very confusing for something that should be so simple!!

After downloading, rename the file to .exe or .mht (for the manual)
                respectively.

At some point you may want to check why your browser is changing the extension of the downloaded files.
I ran a download with IE6 to verify that everything was working and both files were saved to disk with the correct extension.
