Our Fast, Medium, and Slow Lines:
These three indicators are provided to give us another way to visualize momentum in order to locate entries.
The Fast line is calculated so that it follows along the tops of the price bars during a downward move and along the bottoms of the price bars during an upward move.
The Medium and Slow lines are calculated using the same arithmetic at the same time as the Fast line but are each designed to trail the price at a slower pace. Just as the price bars are able to move above and below the Fast line, the Fast line is able to move above and below the Medium and Slow lines to help us identify momentum. The Slow line also makes an excellent trend indicator because the shorter term price activity takes place above or below the Slow line while the market is trending.
