    Must I leave my PC on Eastern time after finishing the instal even though I'm out of the U.S.?

    If I don't, does it only effect the pivots?

    I have a similiar question too....

    For example, I live in HK (GMT+8:00) and trade HSI U4-HKF. How should I change the settings? thx.

      The new charts are setup for eastern time except if you trade the HSI. The time you set affects the pivots and whether they think what you are trading is 'in session' or not and marks the screen 'closed'. The HSI is setup for 945-1615 which is believe is honk kong time

        Thank you for your advice.

        I have read from the user document that we have to set the time zone to be Eastern. However, I live in HK and changing the time zone will pose a difficulty.... I have to work during the daytime and changing the company computer's settings will create great problem.

        So if my computer's settings is HKT (GMT+8:00), how should I set the begin/end session time of the study AND the time tempate?? Should I use 09:45-16:15 OR 21:45-04:15??

        remark: 09:45-16:15 Eastern == 21:45-04:15 HKT

          you should set it to whatever the local time is, but I have to warn you that the study has not been tested with a trading session that crosses midnight (if that's applicable)

            Hello,
            I use woodie CCI to trade Forex and I change the stime and etime to 000 - 2400. Would the Pivots still work?

            What if I am trading during the normal US market time but I have changed the times on my chart and my computer clock is set to Pacific Standard Time?

            Any suggestions would be appriciated.

            Thanks,
            Fab

              Can I edit the time template to reflect my local time and then set my pc on local time too?

              Does the time difference affect anyting else apart from the pivots\\\/

                the time that's displayed in the lower panel determines the studies behavior. Those times are used to determine the session times in order to get the previous days Hi and Low and todays open which are then used for the pivots. Also the top study keeps track of the days hi's and low's by displaying a line at those level. You can overide the session times using the edit studies
