  • Woodie Pivots.efs

I use the Woodie Pivots.efs on a Russell 2000 chart (AB #F) and S&P emini (ES #F =2). After the close of the day the pivots and supports change on the Russell chart but stay the same (as they should) on the S&P chart. Any solution to this problem? tia

You may want to see this thread where you can find an efs that will plot pivots based only on charted data.

      PIVOTS

The woodie pivots are calculated by using yesterdays high and low regular trading hours 9:30 to 16:00 for both the AB and S&P..then you take today's open at 9:30 2 times and divide all by 4 to get the pivots...then use regular calcs to get the s1 r1 etc.....this method i have used for many years and work very very well as it gives the mechanics of todays market verus all # from yesterday..floor pivots are different as all calculated from yesterdays # and the floor traders do not use them if market gaps open as mechanics changed....for the others use the opening today reg hours ...ex: bonds use 8:20 ...these pivots can now be found in 5 different charting packages hope this gives some help...

not sure if efs on esignal is correct for woodie pivots but they are auto on the woodie cci club trading platform from file share area
