  • Tick replay and the DAX index

    Hello,

When I use the tick replay with the DAX futures index (symbol AX Z4-DT), the chart symbol always defaults to YM #F and therefore is showing the wrong increments (see attached chart).

This only happens in the tick replay mode. The other symbols that I replay such as the AB, YM, ES, etc. work just fine.

Any suggestions on how to fix this??

    Thanks in advance

I believe the issue has to do with Woodie's Panel and not with Tick Replay.
You may want to see this thread reporting a similar problem.

Because the original symbol is not made available to an efs during tic replay (as far as I know), the woodie trading panel makes a guess as to the symbol based on it's price range. At this point in time, the dax is not one of the symbols that it guesses and would guess the ym contract based on it's price range
