IB Plug-in error with FA Allocation

Hi,

I am using an IB Advisor account to manage my trading accounts. When I use the IB plug-in from eSignal, I can not spefify the FA Allocation (Financial Advisor Allocation or in other words the "account).

As a result, this produce the following errors:

"IB ERROR: Error validating request: -'ReqAcctData' : cause - The account code is required for this operation."

and in the TWS, an error window with the message "Message must contain field #6161"

Is there a work arround ? All I want is to trade to IB from eSignal.

Managed Accounts for Advisors at IB

Hi Mario,

I need to have our engineering staff review IB's API to determine if they explain how to do that (I'm sure they do, but let me confirm).
If so, we'll assess the feasibility of enhancing the interface to include that, and what the schedule likely be.
We appreciate your using eSignal, and your needs are important to us. I'll provide you with an update sometime in the next week or two, once the engineers have had an opportunity to review the API.
