Problem with IB floating order entry box

After the recent periodic update to IB's TWS I found that the floating order entry box for eSignal was not passing through the orders properly. Longs sometimes ok, but no shorts going through. But no problem with direct entry of orders into IB. I have redownloaded and reinstalled the plugin software to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this & any suggestions to resolve? Thanks.

Are you using any EFS studies to pass the orders from eSignal to IB? A slightly confusing part of this is that certain order types are being accepted while others are not. If you could confirm that TWS is still enabled to "Accept ActiveX and Socket Clients" we may have place to start. Thanks.

Thanks for replying, Duane. No EFS studies, and yes the TWS settings are as you specify. I have resolved the issue by just using direct input into TWS, and given up on the eSignal floating order entry box. Thanks anyway.
