Hi,


i am trying to edit my connection to IB using the QT configurator but i keep getting this error after press the next button after the name of the connection if shown.Then i get the vista grey box to click to close the program option

What is the problem?

Where do i enter my IB login details?

Hi Salo07,

Thanks for your post. When configuring the Interactive Broker connection for QT, you do not enter your username or password in the Configurator. You enter your IB credentials via the Traders Workstation (TWS). QuoteTrader using the TWS to access and athenticate your account information.

Please see this link on how to configure the TWS to work with QuoteTrader.
