IB integrated with esignal problem

Hi

I get the following warning saying Fire openOrder on status change isnt set,
when it is. I have enclosed 2 screen shots showing this.

This is causing a big problem which is stopping esignal working with IB.
Please phone me on the number below with any possible solution or if you
have any further questions.

Hi Ben,

Thank you for your email.
The message about openOrder status was implamented by engineering to be displayed if no orders were downloaded during the connection to TWS.
Because its been the source of confusion with users, we're planning on removing it.

In your email, you reported that it was stopping eSignal from working with IB. Would you please elaborate?

Brent,

I have attached an order ticket to my charts. when I send the order to Ib through the order ticket on esignal I dont get back the last fill. It just says N/A.

So for example I go long 200 shares it first says:

1 pending, no position, last fill n/a

then once i get a fill its says:

0 pending, long 200, last fill N/A

this is clearly a fault as you cant be long 200 shares with last fill N/A.

I am from the UK and my esignal account name is BTippen. I have tried comlpete deleting all the software and starting again but the problem still occurs.

I also had the problem with esignal 8.0

I have tried esignal 7.6 with old plugin and it work fine. Now I just have to find what version of esignal is the latest one that works. Does any1 know this answer.

OK well i've spent hours uninstalling and reinstalling the different esignal versions. I've found that the new ib plugin does not work on any version full stop. Now the older plugin does work on version 10 however to get it to work u have to start at version 7.6 and upgrade thru to 10 with the plugin installed. When I did this i went from version 7.6 to 7.7 to 7.8 to 7.9r2 then to 8.0 then to 10.

If you just install version 10 it doesnt work.

Hope this helps. And as far as inproving the software goes it would be nice to have the trade history on the ib plugin like you get on the esignal papertrader.

Last night i installed just version 10 and the new and old plugin and the old plugin worked without me having to start with an d earlier version of esignal.

Brent, are there any other ib plugins?
