  • Connectivity between IB and TWS has been lost id -1 state 1100

    Several times a day I am loosing the connection between IB and eSignal.

    The problem doesn't appear to be network related as eSignal continues running uninterrupted.

    Given that loosing a connection when auto-trading means either not being able to close a position or initiate one I would appreciate any suggestions on resolving this problem.

    Also, are there any network related setting in TWS that are configurable to improve the reliability (or performance).

    We are going to implement quick reconnect feature for IB, not sure will it happens in October or November release.

    I'm not aware of any other ways to work around this problem.
