Grabbing Account Data from Broker in an efs

Hi all,

In an efs, I'd like query my live account with my broker and ask 2 questions:

1) Do I have any open positions?
2) What is my accout balance?

My broker is MB Trading.

>> I can see the data in an Account Balances window inside eSignal. A plugin appears to use an OBC Bridge.

If I can see the data in eSignal, can I grab it in an efs script?

If I can't grab the data in eSignal, can I grab it outside of eSignal,
e.g. a live updating spread sheet?

I'd like my efs to place live trades. First I need to know if I have any open positions, what they are, and what my available balance is. I could track this second hand. But ideally I'd like to go straight to the source.

MB Trading

1) Might the forum moderator be so kind as to correct the spelling of this post's header. Apparently, I was quite tired when I first submitted it.

2) Does anyone know if one can grab one's account balance or check one's current positions from within eSignal. I use MB Trading's MBT Navigator to log into eSignal. I can see my account data in eSignal. Is there any way to grab this data using an efs?

Can anyone offer any other suggestions? would Ninja Trader help me do this?

Accessing MB Trading account values through EFS

I am using the integrated eSignal/MBT Navigator solution (eSignal is the host). I was wondering if it was possible to retrieve MB Trading account information such as value/cash, and PnL through EFS.

At this time EFS does not have built-in functions to retrieve specific information from the broker account. This functionality is scheduled to be reviewed by development in Q1 of 2008.

This has been reviewed, but there isn't an ETA for these enhancements at this time.
