MB connection problem with QuoteTrader

  • MB connection problem with QuoteTrader

    1. Do you have MB Navigator installed on the computer?

    YES

    2. If so, are you able to log in to MB Navigator?

    Yes

    3. Has MB Trading connection worked in the passed?

    Yes

    4. In the account Manager under the message tab can you tell me what each of the lines reads?

    When I try to connect to MB;
    #1 says 'connecting'
    #2 is blank
    #3 says 'blocked'

    I'm still having problem connection QuoteTrader and MB Trading. I've tried creating a new connection to MB Trading several times and also editing account user name and pw . The connection is always 'blocked'. Ameritrade connects fine.
    I've tried reinstalling quotetrader software and everything else I can think of.
    Do you have any other suggestions that might unblock the mb connection?
    Is getting 'blocked' a common problem with MB connection? I'm wondering if it's a quotetrader software problem. Is 1.2.1019.1049, build 10/16/2007 the latest version?

      Could you please specify your MBTNavigator version?

        I'm using QuoteTrader version 1.3.993.600

          1. Download and install new version


          2. Delete all MB connections and create new one. To do this
          - run "QuoteTrader Configurator"
          - click red button for each MBT connection
          - press "Create New Connection" button and follow instructions
