IB sounds on trading events

How can I turn down the sounds that eSignal make when trading using IB?

I have tried Trade->Notification

and unchecked all sounds but it still gives me sounds I dont want.

Hello and I apologize for the delay in responding. Other then the Notification settings I don't know that there is any other place that the sounds would come. Are you using any alerts or EFS that have sound alerts?

No, I dont use any alert or EFS...

But, I solved the problem by deleting the sound files that were bothering me.

Weak solution, but it works.

I just wanted to ask the same question.

I just found that sounds for trading event alerts and data connection alerts can be modified in TWS under Configure - Misc - Sound Manager.
