Excel DDE Question

Is it possible to place orders via DDE from Excel? If so, are there any articles or examples?

Let me do some asking around to our Product Management Team and Active X Group to see if this is possible. I know there are some Trading features that work with Active X but I just don't know that they can be corporate into excel.

Once I have more information I'll post back.
