What is the "Display Size" feature used for?

What is the "Display Size" setting in the order ticket used for? I have been experimenting with this setting and have not been able to figure it out.

This setting has to do with the Sweep to Fill Order. The requirement are that it be a US Stock traded though SMART. If requirements are not met the flag (setting) will be ignored.

What the setting is supposed to be used for is to display the breakdown of shares to price to fill a large market order.
