  • IB-When I go to place an order from the charts it says "Failed to place order: order-

    When I go to place an order from the charts a popup comes up saying

    "Failed to place order: order being modified does not match original order."

    I have Interactive brokers, the bridge is setup correctly and there is a connection, but no chart trading right now. Anyone know whats up?

    Reset APIR Order

    Hello,

    You must reset your API Order. If you're on positions, close them all. Then, in TWS go to the configuration panel, look for API and click "Reset API order ID sequence" (see attached snapshot).

    This should help.
