Auto-Trading with esignal

Hi,

I have programmed a systemised trading program in EFS that currently supports my manual trading process and was considering whether I could automate this using the generic broker functions in esignal.

The last note from Jason_K in Dec10 on generic broker functions indicates that esignal do not recommend this and advise waiting for esignal v11.1 to be released.

Could someone advise on the status of auto-trading from EFS?
I saw deepdiscounttrading.com offer v low bro rates and auto-trading capabilities from esignal - is this possible/advisable?

This project has unfortunately been put on hold and is pending a legal review. At this time, the project is not assigned to any specific version for development. We'll provide another update once we know more.

Automatic Trading

I wonder what the work arounds to ths issue woulld be?

One alternative that I have implemented is to write the signals into a CSV file which is picked up instaneously for execution.
