Is there a way to maintain decimal point consistency with IB for a number of futures instruments?

HG for example is around 400 in eSignal, but 4.00 in IB. The same goes for 6J (or J7 in IB).

    Thanks.

IB does do the reverse for the Japanese Yen as eSignal does. Ss when they display the price for the yen (6J & 7J) they're displayed as pennies (0.011940) and not dollars like on the charts.

Here is a postwhere Custom Symbol Settings are used as a workaround to be able to trade this particular instrument. It uses a simple calculation to shift the decimal point over so that the price to match that of IB Trading. This same method can be used for the HG as well.

      Thanks Avery.

Btw, wondering if you guys will be fixing the bug in creating custom spread symbols. I still can't create such symbols without closing the data manager first.

That issue was corrected some time ago with a new release of server side Data Managers. If you're continuing to experience errors when trying to create custom symbols please let us know so that we can check the servers that you connecting to.
