efs buy button and interactive brokers plugin

I'm trying to create a simple buy button on the chart to execute a calculated trade. It works fine with esignal paper trading but when I connect to interactive brokers and try to execute the same trade I get a message stating "invalid value, invalid type format".

I've done a bit of searching on both sites and can't find anything referencing this problem. I'd appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.

I should also add that I am using the 11.2 RC. When using 11.1 I was getting a symbol not found error.

Can you tell me where the error appears? Is it a pop up error or do you see it in the Message Tab of the Account Manager?

Using another EFS that creates button on the carts to generate traddes I'm not able to duplicate the issue. However it could have something to do with the symbol mapping like you were getting in eSignal 11.1.

Can you confirm that the instrument you're trading appears in your Interactive Brokers Dictionary in the Broker Manager?
