  • Mapping IB CFDs

    Hi,

currently it is not possible to map the new Index CFDs from IB for trading in ESIGNAL 11.5. Informations about these CFDs are available here: http://ibkb.interactivebrokers.com/node/1984

Please make it asap possible to map these symbols for trading in ESIGNAL.

    Regards,

    bs.trader

    Hello bs trader,

Since these new CFDs are not actually traded on any market eSignal would not have any data from the symbols making it difficult for mapping.

      Hello AveryH,
the underlying of these CFD are the corresponding Futures (taken from the link provided above by bs.trader):
The price of the Index CFD is directly related to the price of the exchange-quoted related future.
The price-movement of the Index CFD tracks the movement of the related future, although the
price levels differ by an adjustment for interest and dividends (fair-value adjustment).
so for IBDE30 it would be FDAX Current Future. Of Course the Broker Data would differ by the fair value adjustments, but Mapping to eSignal integrated trading should be possible - isn't it?
      Best Regards,
      Rainer
