buyMarket error - please help!

Hi,

When running a simple buyMarket (getSymbol(), 1) function when connecting to IB through Broker Manager, I get an error saying "connection not ready".

This is driving me mad - any help would really be appreciated.

You're a paying customer. Call technical support by phone and get them to look at the problem. You should have had a staff member respond to you by now on the forums.

It turned out that this error was caused by an incorrect setting in the "edit symbol" box within "broker manager".
