eSignal trouble with integrated trading tools.

Hello everyone from Paris.


When I open a position with esignal

any integrated trading tools works

or in charts or in scale windows.

I can't manage my trade.


its works fine in Esignal paper trading

but with my real account anything works.



My broker is Interactive Broker.


What do thinks about that ?

Hello,

I have eSignal 12 for market screener plus i had add 3 exchanges, it' works fine just this trouble when i get position in stock.

I must draw myself 2 lines for see my entry price and my stop loss
and in Trade manager profit and loss in real time don't appear.

During upgrading 11 to 12, i had no problem with missed files or other.

I will try to reinstall program.

Thank you for the post, I think the issues you're reporting here is that you do not have the correct broker set in your Default Broker Connection, or the Broker you have set is not the one you placed the order with.

Setting a Default Trading Partner
To set the Default Broker click on the Blue eS (top left corner of eSignal program), then click on Applications Properties. In the Application Properties Window, select "Trading Default Connection" on the left. Under Trade Default Connection select the instrument type and using the drop down menu select a broker. Repeat the process for each of the instruments type you'll be trading.

In the your chart you'll need to open the Trading Panel to make sure you have the correct broker selected. (see attached)



On the top of the trade panel you need to confirm that your broker is selected. Once you've selected the broker add the symbol you hold a position on and this should show any positions you hold there.

My connection between esignal and IB works fine.

But i haven't seen anyway this setting "Trade default connections"
for each instrument.

OK thanks i forward to you if i still have trouble.
