Do anybody have an idea how to manipulate the ActiveX Broker windows in ESignal to provide customized broker trading service .

The "ActiveX Trading" setting under Trade --> Preferences is designed to send orders to an application built with our eSignal Desktop API. This API uses ActiveX to send data and orders to applications outside of eSignal. More information on eSignal Desktop API can be found at the following links.

thanks for your reply,. Basically I am able to receive and process orders placed inside ESIgnal from my tool running as a windows application. I use ESignal API Events for this.
I had a look at the documentations in the URL you just provided.
I was wondering is it possible for me to develop a plug-in like the one which is shown in the ESignal-Refco video recording.
Secondly I dont see any thing on the ActiveX broker, though I have preference -> ActiveX (default) setting.

Regarding your first question about the Refco application. That was something that Refco already had built, and was integrated with eSignal by our developers as part of the business relationship with Refco. If you are a representative of a business that is interested in integrating with eSignal, then feel free to call our business group at (800) 835-7113.

I'm not sure I understand your second question. What do you mean by not seeing anything on the ActiveX Broker? Could you post a screenshot to clarify?

Symbool Lookup

I have another doubt which you may be able to help me. We are developing a ActiveX broker plug-in for our clients using ESignal. The problem is we don't use the symbols used by ESignal and we use ISIN for our worlwide stocks. Is there any Utility or database that is offered by ESignal for symbol lookup or symbol matching?.

I don't believe there is any facility for that.

Since it sounds like you are using the Standard API, I would suggest emailing [email protected] for further assistance as we ask that all questions pertaining to that API be emailed in (due to the NDA.) If I'm mistaken, and you are instead using the Desktop API (the recent ActiveX API we released,) then you can email [email protected] or post in the ActiveX forum for future assistance.
