  • DIrect traiding via EFS/dynaOrder

    Hi,

What would be the added value tu use DynaOrder DLL versus the integrated EFS script toward IB broker ?

it will run an additional program and therefore bring additional risk of failure ?

Are the enhanced way to interact with IB via DynaOrder worth the cost, the complexity of coding and the risk to have an extra piece of software running ?

    nicpo,

If your system is simple and is not based on the results of the actual order filling (for example, if you just buy and sell basing on the indicators and don't care which price the order was filled at), then it's better to use a built-in IB Broker interface.

But if your strategy requires results of the exsecution or you're usin an OCA groups or you're using FA account and want to handle a share allocation for your order (for example buy 40 of 100 shares on account 1 and others to account 2) or you're basing your strategy on the money management so you need to read the balance details from the broker and use them in your calculations.... then use DO
