  • API vs. 7.5 CyberX No connections?

The new version of Esignal is 7.5. But 7.5 does NOT work with CYBERX. I was told by Esignal folks that this is a CYBERX issue. That really can't be so since CYBERX still works with 7.4. It seems that 7.5 has problems with interfaces to API's. Does anyone know if ESignal plans to resolve this issue with 7.6. Note that there are MANY issues with the API for 7.5 as this bulletin board has already noted. Would it be too much to ask that when those are all fixed and incorporated in 7.6, that they also think about making sure they incorporate cyberx (since it is Schwab after all) by bringing back those lines in the 7.4 code that enabled integration with CYBERX?

    Hi Mark,

I moved this thread into the Broker Plug-ins & Integrated Trading forum because the CyberTrader integration is a CyberTrader API product and doesn't directly relate the eSignal's ActiveX data API.

    Cheers... George

      Hello Mark,

Our growing code base has required us to upgrade to a newer set of library files that most newer programs already use. CyberX isn't compatible with one of these needed files. We have contacted them, and asked if a change could be made in their API to support it. We are certainly ready to jump on the new plug-in as soon as CyberX makes the change. Until then, only eSignal 7.4 will be integrated with CyberX.
