Dinapoli settings

Can someone please explain what the settings are for the dinapoli macd and stoch plz since i would like to play around with them using the basic studies please i cannot seem to do this however with the pre built efs

Hi Silver,

A couple of things. The source code for the DiNapolli studies can be viewed through the EFS Editor under the Tools menu in eSignal. This is the best way to get an understanding of how the study is being put together and calculated. In regards to the DiNapolli MACD, it looks like the settings are 8,19,9. This can be closely replicated with the basic studies although it isn't an exact match.



As far as the Preferred Stochastic goes, it looks like the settings are 8,3,3. Again, it doesn't match exactly but that is due to the calculation that is going on behind the scenes. Hopefully this will provide you with a good starting point.
