Activate Charts from Trigger Alert List

Can someone tell me if its possible to activate a chart from the Trigger Alert List?

Hi Carlton,

It looks like the alert activation (Link Alert to Window) only works with Quote Windows. I tried to get fancy and rename the file type to .ach, but no luck. Keep in mind that you'll need to be working with layouts when taking advantage of this feature.

Hi Duane,

Its a shame it doesn't work. It would really save me a lot of time. I usually set up various alerts to go off every 15 to 30min and it would be great feature if the trigger window would simply activate the chart. Oh well.

Hi Carlton,

Thanks for the heads up. I'll pass it along to the Product Development Team so that this can be re-visited. I'm not sure what's involved from the programming side, but I can see the usability and benefit from this feature.
