  • Trade Size

    Hello,

In esignals quote window there is a column named "TSize" which I guess stands for trade size. Can someone educate me on how I can use that value when trading?

    Cheers

    Hi Carlton,

You are correct with the Trade Size question as it relates to TSize. This is an indicator that helps with determining how many shares are being traded at the time of the last trade. I've found it useful on entries and exits as it always helps to have offsetting liquidity to insure that there is someone on the other side to take your trade. This is basically the main contributing factor to momentum. It also serves as a heads up to block trades and large institutional transactions. That is the extent to which I have used it in the past. You'll need to work with it so you can determine what relevance it has to the instruments you are trading. Hope this helps.
