Trend following vs Reversal

I am wondering what technicals Fx traders are using to determine when the major pairs are trending or oscillating (non-trending). I would like to develop an either/or situation in my trading.

EZ2Trade's Wave study does this nicely for Forex trading. There was 2 chat sessions back in July where Raghee Horner from EZ2Trade went over the wave and other tools for Forex trading. I would suggest downloading the log of thess chats from the eSignal Chat Logs file share group.
