Reset Symbol Count Not Working

Hi,

Can someone tell me how to get the "Reset symbol count" in preferences to work?

I tested by closing a few charts and quotes and then clicked on reset symbol count and it didn't decrease.

FWIW I reset the symbol count by double clicking the Sym box in the application status bar (see image)

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried your suggestion and it didn't work. At the moment, the only way to reset the symbol count is to go into esignal data manager and reset the database. Is there a reason why its not working?
