Hi JatiQ,

I'm not sure what you are referring to in regards to retrieving this data, but you may want to look at the Data Exporting capabilities through the Time and Sales window. This is usually the most efficient to retrieve the data sent by the exchanges.

By right clicking on the Time and Sales window, you should be able to export the various data types to an externally read format.

how does one interpret the time and sales data or tick data from a programming standpoint?

how can I "tell" excel...this is the bid this is the ask and this is the volume... i want to use it in excel in real time and graph or add certain functions to the data?
