In regard to the S&P 500 index, I'm looking for the following data:
The most highly traded shares - most liquid - I guess this would simply come under the term of those stocks with the highest average daily volume. I guess what I'm also asking is where is the limit on stocks whereby liquidity becomes more difficult - is there a cut off limit - would I be best advised on looking solely at the S&P 100 in response to this.
Is liquidity necessarily the same as average daily volume?
