      Hi Buzz

Thanks for the reply, I could show a screen shot of the bid/ask efs but to tell you the truth it wouldnt do much good without the chart you are looking at next to it. Sort of like when you look at the $tick chart it just goes up and down but if you put a chart of the s&P next to it then you have something.
The problem is that I am running a tick chart with the efs running blown up fully, next to the 5 minute chart and I am looking at them in tandem. I cant put this efs on a 5 min chart because the 5 min chart is not showing all the trades going through for this efs. So i am trying to find the tick chart that is showing the right trades becaue esignal feed doesnt work right with time charts as people are finding out. So I am improvising right now. That may be a bit confusing but hopefully makes a bit of sense.
So on this efs, it is basically showing when there is buying/selling. But if you look at places you think a reversal is going to happen say at the tops or bottoms. then you look to see if the market is selling into the last up bar. In other words lets say a run up has been happening and there is a final large up bar, well this efs can tell if they are selling into that bar. Or selling into strength.
The trick is to find the right bar at the tops or bottoms. Then you can see if the players are selling into strength and time for a reversal. Like I said, I know that may sound a bit confusing, but I hope that helps

        Hello All

Well today i decided to put 9 charts with this efs blown up on the chart. What I have found out is that when you put up a 5 min chart and say I have a 0 lot for the vol on one a 50 lot for the vol on another and say a 100 lot on the vol for another 5 min chart I get a nice breakdown of the differnt players., but the time and sales don't work right.
Now when I put up a seconds chart or a tick chart and put and on edit studies have the same 0 50 and 100 numbers for the volume, I get a much better time and sales but I get the same exact figures accross all three charts, it shows absolutely no differnce for the volume studies for seconds and tick charts. In other words when I edit for 0 50 and 100 contracts I get the same number for all three charts, which shows it isnt working.
So now the five minute seems to work for the volume studies but doesnt give the right time and sales going through. The seconds and tick charts gives the better time and sales but no differnce when editing the volume, so really it doesnt work, anyone have any ideas.
        Thanks for any help

          Hi All

Afer testing everything from tick charts to vol to second charts to min charts, I have settled on 300 second chart which equals my 5 min chart, the efs works great.
I cant put up the twelve charts I had on the screen but just letting you know. The volume charts also worked very good for a short time frame. Keep the settings on volume in the edit studies.Hope it helps
