  • Use of Oscillators

    Hi:
I came across this discussion of oscillators on the TSSupport Knowledge base.

I am attaching it to stimulate a discussion.

If you get a chance, read it over. The part that has me interested is the concept of "mapping the markets mechanically."

The question I throw out is: Is it possible to map the terrain of the trading day?

My sense is this is what the Market Profile and identifying data streaks might be able to do? http://www.tssupport.com/knowledgebs...rticle&id=1806

Delete the 'w's then the link will work.
    Here it is:

As for your question, Harndog, I wouldn't be able to make profits in the stock market if I wasn't able to map the terrains of the trading days. So it must be possible. However I don't know how to map them in the way the web page is showing them. If you could contact Mr Tolstonogov or someone elso from TSSupport using the feedback button in regard to those maps and ask them how those are made.
The images on that web page look quite strange to me. I need to see time and prices. However I agree with all the conclusions made about oscillators. Wish I would've learned them years before. The tutorial is worth reading especially for beginners.

Another Good Article of Trading system diversity

I am just posting this article from John Slauson. It came from this link orginally, and the link is no longer working:

      tsagroup.com/articles/ts_divers.html

The article deals with trading systems diversity. I found it valuable so I am posting it as a Word Document.
