    Take a look here below.

I just played a little bit with the Harmonic Numbers of the S&P.....
seems esotheric...but maybe it is not.

You have something here, I will show you what I mean later. Have you taken this further? How about 60 minute bars? or maybe 10 minute bars?

            SEVEN

This is along the lines of what I've been doing for about 2 years now. I love numbers above all else because they are absolute, not subjective like geometric shapes or algorithms. I always come to the number 7 and 12, and their multiples. Multiples of 7 and the use of 12 I have only been able to use on 60 minute charts and dailies, but using 7 I have seen a high statistical significance to 5 minute bars. The screenshots show S&P and ES, but ES is a little muddled I think because of the 24 hour trading. The screenshots show 7 time period cycles and Pesavento patterns set to a minimum of 7 bars , measured from the high 10-09-03 @ 11:40 New York time .

                seven

Or you can just trade seven minute charts like I do (and their multiples).

I can see 7 is working perfectly for you on S&P.

The power of 6, 9 , 13 and 4 ( as a bacackward qualiflyer ) yet not harmonics are my companion.

Expecially the 6 on my very own oscillator on the 3 or 5 min.

An Esignal partner called Wave59 has an interesting counting tool called 9-5 count. I've never used it but looks interesting.

Just a quick glance at Sept 15 2003 I see 1300 days from March 24 2000, which was the 13th week of that year, and Oct 15 2003 was day 288 of the year, or 144 times 2. Getting back to 13 I added 13 to 768 22 times (your harmonic number 11 doubled) and get 1054, with the high 1053.79.

                              Max 1054 less 270 (harmonic number by 10) = 784

                              Minimum of 03/12/03= 788
