does anyone know of a good way of daytrading nasdak stocks?? im asking because they are as you know very volatile and one can easily get stopped out if one gets a bad entry or a late onebut the correct timing can make a lot of profits?

I agree with linus71. You do need a solid strategy. Trading the Nasdaq is a lot different to any other market, especially when coming from futures trading. The down tick rule alone is a hard one to master, as shorting is a lot harder to get a good fill.
Also remember you can only day-trade 3 times a week unless you have a PDT account which requires $25k

Pattern day trader

There are some brokers out there that you can day trade as many times as you wish with out having 25k in your acct.I will not post there names here but if you do some homework you will find them.
