  • ESTX - Double Inverse H&S

I challenge any of the US indices, (especially the truly awful ES) to come up with a prettier chart pattern than this one tonight Note also the inverse H&S in the 70 CCI, so beautiful.

    Hi,

I am really curious about finding out more about Eurex trading. I have been trading the U.S. Futures and Stock markets for about 6 years, and am looking to expand my horizons. Which markets should I be watching? Are some better for daytrading than others? I like to intraday trade using a 5 minute chart, and also like doing some longer term position trades. I hope to learn a lot from you and others about Eurex trading on this forum!

      Hi Nicholle,

With the Eurex feed you get ESTX (great TA cheap to trade and the second most liquid index after ES), DAX (expensive and a bit more erratic) the two lovely bond futures Bobl and Bund which trend beautifully and again are cheap to trade. You also get SMI which is fun, moves well and is about 45p a point so very reasonable to cut your teeth on. The problem will be the timezone difffences, the Aussies find it quite good but for the US the 2 am starts can be difficult

If you'd like me to put up the contract specs for the above I will do. Let me know.

      Cheers
      Helen

        Hi,

Thank you for the informative response, and yes I would like to see the contract specs, I would probably not be able to trade the DAX if it's too expensive, but I would definately like to look into the others you mentioned. Right now I mainly trade the mini Dow, which I like, but I would really like to find some other markets that I can enjoy trading as well. Thanks a lot, I will talk to you later.

        Sincerely,

        Nicholle
