symbol guide for european indices

Having problems to find symbols for european indices. FTSE-100 for instance, whats the symbol?

The FTSE Index is LX A0-LF. I agree it is hard to find. Most international indices are available in our Symbols Guide under International Indices, but there are a few exceptions as is the case with the FTSE 100. Basically, it's when the futures exchange calculates the index.

Adding to Jay's reply in case you do not have a subscription to Liffe there are also $UKX-FTSE (requires FTSE Index values subscription) or $UKX-IDX (requires World Indices add on subscription)
