Generic Alerts

Hello All,

I don't know if this is the correct forum to be posting this question, anyhow I was wondering if someone could let me know if its possible to simulate the alerts that come with esignal with, say bar replay or playback?

sure, just use the formula wizard to check if the h>l and sound an alarm
every time...

I'm afraid not.

Will I have to learn how to use just to apply the existing alarms with esignal to bar replay?

The only way to play an alert, real time or replay, is with an efs.

You could do a search for alerts ...>

If you are referring to the Alerts that are set by clicking the icon with the yellow bell or by clicking View->Alerts then no they do not work in Bar or Tick Replay.

Yes, I'm referring to those alerts. Do you know if they work in playback?

I guess that was a silly question. It must work realtime, I suppose I should have asked is it possible to simulate the alarms you click on the yellow icon to access?

In Tick Replay it is possible to replicate some of them using efs as long as these are not based on daily values (ie daily High, Low, etc)
If you remember we went through the reasons for this when working on an efs that was for setting daily high alerts
