Why does the Bund track close to the 30 yr bonds? I have been trading the reports and I have noticed like today when a weak US consumer confidence came out that the Bund rallied as well as our interest rate products. Why the correlation? It might make sense for me to trade the Bund even from a smaller spread stand point. Thanks!
