I have a formula paramater box on this EFS which lets me enter a formula'Ihave entered ((close(3)+high(1)+low(1)))/6 which gives me a desired line in a window under a chart of $ticki.
What I desire is a 4 period average of teh above on a one minute bar.

If you are trying to compute the moving average of a custom variable then you cannot do that with the Formula Wizard.
You will need to write the formula using the EFS Editor and EFS2 functions. For some examples on how to create studies on studies using EFS2 see this thread
If you are unfamiliar with programming in EFS then I would suggest that you contact one of the EFS Consultants and have them write the formula for you
