Lock Driver for GET EOD
The Advanced GET EOD and Advanced GET EOD with Dashboard both require the user to plug in their Advanced GET security key, sometime called a dongle or Lock. The key requiers driver software in order for the Key, the Operating System (OS) and GET program to communicate. This is why we need to have the lock drivers installed. The keys are manufactured by a company called SafeNet. www.safenet-inc.com . The locks are of the Sentinal Super Pro model line from SafeNet and use a set of driver call the "Sentinal Protection Installer". The current version is version 7.3 as of the last time I check the Safenet download site.
The driver can be downloaded from the Advanced GET download site (version 7.2.2 which is fine to use) or from the SafeNet web site.
The Advanced GET website is www.AdvancedGET.com/download
The SafeNet website is http://c3.safenet-inc.com/downloads/...er%207.3.0.exe`
Hope this helps?Gary Welte

USB Dongle & Vista 64
I had trouble getting the dongle to work with the Vista 64 however the GET install program loads an older version of the software for the dongle which overwrote the newer one supplied by safenet, so the solution is
1 - install the dongle software first (xp 64 version)
2 - insert dongle and ensure it finds the drivers
3 - load GET but select custom install
4 - de-select the driver options for the dongle
5- load and run the program

Hello taowave
There are 2 types of AGET keys, USB or Parallel. I am assuming you have the parallel version since most all computers have USB ports.
You can contact AGET support and arrange for an exchange of keys. There may be a charge for S&H.
You will also need to re-install the key drivers before plugging in the new USB key.Gary Welte
