      Hi Matt

Right: TOTALLY OUT OF FOCUS, And I apologize if It bothered Marcus , you ot any other else.

After 1300 posts to supportt others in TA i felt romantic and let my pen go into a wonderfull story. Despite I' am not a "green" at all. But the story - for whom has partially lived it as myself , is enchanting.

And is made by one though american , 5.3 tall, visonary in everithing , from whom I have learned 70% of what I know in business.

I still remeber the lunch we had wit Ivan Boesky in NYC in 1982.

So all this apart , confirming my outfocusing " bias" today
let me post a link: it will bring you to a wonderfull but diffrent "American Dream" which is worth IMHO to be read .

Honest, my friend, it totally no bother to me in any way... I personally really enjoy reading these kinds of experiences and histories. I find it interesting, good reading, and it makes this site fun. I find it helps open all our eyes up to the fact we really do live in a small world, and we all have so much in common no matter where we live on this earth. (And right now, living in wintery snow cold midwest Ohio, USA, is not very exciting, so these posts help get the mind off depressing winter weather! )

Keep it up! Take care and hope you have a good rest of this week, marc

PS. Will be posting some Argentina ADR's today.

            Hi Fabrizio,

I meant that MY comment was going to be a little off topic, not yours. I welcome your posts and have never been offended. Feel free to wax poetically any time you like. After 1300 posts, you're entitled.

I spent a month in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. Loved the people there.

            Take care amigo.
            Cheers!

                Re: XTL mistery question

                Hi binder,

Below your quote is my comments....

                with the eliott label on5/5/5

I had seen this happening a couple of times before and i thought of it as a sell- off, is this interpretation correct?

the adr on the us market shoiwed a similar behavior (ticker is TEO), but with elliott showing a 5/5/3, and a jump on volume but nos as big as in the local market

Here is an example of where cross-referencing helps one maintain perspective. TEO is a trending up stock. The weekly shows a clean XTL blue for quite some time. The Elliott oscillators still have postive values. Upon first glance nothing very obvious stands out as major resistance being tested here, just minor concerns. We are above the linear regression line and the immediate moving averages one might use for guidance, such as the 21 or 50 MA. One has to next ask is this trend up still your friend based more on long, intermediate and short-term money management considerations. (to be continued)...

using it as signal for wave 4

                  Hi

thx for the chart, i thought on that bar as a signal for the correction of the wave 4, indeed the correction appears to be in process, the big move on other stocks and weakness of this one signal that

my usual limitation on english might obscure my point.

i want to see if that black bar can be used as a sort of xtl short time divergence

Now here is Chart # 2, the daily TEO chart with comments written on it, designed to hopefully answer your questions. After this will be one more TEO example....

And, finally, here is a 'zoomed-in' daily TEO chart to show something a couple other tools such as an Ellipse application with immediate swing retracements added. I am not real confident myself we can conclude yet this stock is topping for a bigger pullback basis just the one XTL black bar, if that is the essence of the question.

Re: using it as signal for wave 4

                        Hi again--

No, I still don't think you could use that one black daily bar and construe it as a XTL short signal, if that is what you are asking?

I have looked at TEO on several different time frames this afternoon, looking for different XTL ideas. I still cannot yet conclude an XTL short.

The shortest time frame today where we can see an XTL black followed with some red bars is the 45 to 30 minute.

All the other higher time frames are still defining XTL 'neutral' relationships.

Excuse me if I misquote or am misinterpreting what Harndog may have said earlier, but I think he is right when he said something about IF the XTL and oscillators are at odds with the price behavior, stay with the price behavior.

This price behavior has been positive. After looking at the weekly I kind of still want to try and figure out if there will be a Type 1 Buy later this first quarter? But, basis the strong daily action lately it has pushed strongly up quickly. Technically it seems oversold. It is not illogical for some to want to define a short-term Short position based on this observation. We might even attempt to use something like a Stochastics to define an "overbought" condition with possible short-term sell signal.

But based on my knowledge of the XTL study and its overall purpose, I still cannot do this trade idea based on one black XTL bar. Maybe if we had a series of black bars followed by a red bar in the next two weeks, but not today.

                          confirming charts

thx for all the chart, you are confirming my analysis, ill llok the price action to see how it goes after that black bar

A major problem on the advanced get is that it can read intraday eod, so non USA markets are imposible to analyze since most of the data services dont include the minor exchanges

                            binder,

Some Argentine friends live near you, in Wilde, Quilmes Oeste, Don Bosco, Bosques, Alice in Florencio Varela, the di Mateos live in Bernal. One lives in Cordoba. A few live over the La Plate River (sp?) in Montevideo, Uruguay. (I only mention this because I think I left a part of my heart there... if my wife would only let me move my family! You have a wonderful, wonderful country.)

PS - More ADR charts coming any second.....

PZE is still an absolutely attractive stock! I suspect it will only have shallow corrections for immediate furture, but if you see something else, could you remind me later to look at it. More comments below on chart....
