  • Japanese translation for 11

Here are some links to the user guides for platforms of a few Japanese brokers that may help your translator find various terms commonly used in trading software.

For some reason the 2nd and 4th urls don't show the complete address in the thread even though they do in the message box. Please let me know if you can't open them on an English computer.

A lot of what had been translated into Japanese has changed back into English.

          Hi Scott,

I don't still have the previous versions with which to compare in detail, but for sure the menu when you r-click on the chart's Time Scale, of the menu that opens when you r-click on the body of a chart only 'Properties' at the bottom is in Japanese to where most of the menu had been translated, everything in Chart Properties and Edit Chart is now in English to where most of these had been translated. In that window only Time Template is still in Japanese.

I feel there's more but as I use both the English and Japanese versions it's hard to recall everything just from memory.

Sorry for not including examples earlier.

            Hi Scott,
While not knowing how much of 11 was translated in each of the other languages, from what I can see the pattern of the examples listed below looks to be the same in many or all of the other languages as well.

Thanks Jay. I suspect that when we changed those menu's to a tabbed interface, the translations became mismapped. We'll investigate further.

In the new Tabular Mode the translation for Close is shown as 閉じる, which is used as in 'close' your eyes.
                It should be 終値。

I don't know if the below links that I sent in 2011 were passed on to your translator or not. If not,
he/she may find them of use in understanding market terms in Japanese.
