    Since I replaced TradeStation with eSignal (recently), I find my PC freezes. I have plenty of memory, etc. This happened again sometime last night. This morning I had to turn off my PC and restart as it was not responding. When I opened eSignal, I had a gap in data from 2/9/06 to 3/16/06. Any suggestions on how I can (1) keep eSignal from crashing my PC; and (2) how can I retireve the lost data so my charts make sense?

    I had a similar problem. Sometime during the night eSignal stopped collecting data. DataManager showed it had a normal connection, but no data was being delivered to eSignal (if I selected a new symbol, I would not get any data in my chart). I shut down eSignal and restarted my PC and eSignal, then things were back to normal. When this occurred, my other web applications were able to access the intenet without difficulty.

      There are different things that can cause eSignal to freeze. Take a look at this article and let us know if it helps:
